Decorating your home for Easter is fun and fresh. Spring has just begun and winter is officially over! Celebrate the Easter holiday and the season change with a slightly different fashion this year by getting a little closer to nature.  Even if displaying Easter eggs and bunnies doesn’t fit your personality, you can still spruce up your home with seasoned sophistication!

Pastels are the choice color palettes for this time of year. Use pretty pastel accent pillows on your sofa and bedding. These are a great addition to your usual color scheme and are easily stored after the holiday is over.

Buy a few festive dishes in pastel color pallets. These will make your table setting look fresh and clean with a dash of fun. Add some cloth napkins in brighter color selections.

Fill clear containers with colorful Easter candy. Add shredded green paper to the bottom of the containers, to add another breath of spring to the space. Place these containers on your dining table, kitchen counter top and on the cocktail table. These little accents are pretty to look at and welcome visitors with a sweet.

“Spring” for a naturalistic wreath for your door. Finish off with a pretty pastel bow and faux Robin’s eggs (light blue eggs with brown speckles.

Tulips are the perfect flower for this time of year. Used in flower arrangements, they tend to last longer than other flowers. When you are shopping for tulips make sure and get a bouquet composed of closed flowers. They look pretty when they are closed and continue to look good as they bloom.

Enjoy brightening your home and welcoming the seasonal change!
